Dr. Kaiser Jamil, former Director grade Scientist of CSIR- Indian Institute of Chemical Technology Hyderabad, is presently Principle Investigator and the Head of Genetics Department, at Bhagwan Mahavir Medical Research Centre, Hyderabad, having published more than 300 papers in journals of repute and guided 34 scholars for PhD degree. During the last two decades following her instincts, she has taken up several projects related to human health, for ‘War against Cancer’ she has contributed in the field of Biomarkers in Breast cancer, Leukaemia, and Head and Neck cancer. Her Research, in the area of Pharmacogenomics included the role of SNPs as Biomarkers in drug metabolizing genes in various cancers, which has been published in peer reviewed journals. Using bioinformatics tools she could relate the networking of genes which elucidated Drug-Gene interactions. She has also contributed on the role of some signalling pathways such as tyrosine kinase (TK) and MAP Kinase in haematological malignancies and HNC. Her research continues to unravel genotypes leading towards personalised medicine, and more recently studying the role of microRNAs in diagnosis and cancer therapeutics.

Prof. Ram Kumar Singh has been serving as an academician, agricultural researcher and extensionist having comprehensive administrative experience. His thrust in the field of research and education exhibited the same meticulous planning and flawless execution that are hallmark throughout his life. He published several research papers in peer-reviewed journals, books, and articles in popular magazines and given several TV and radio talks with respect to agriculture and human resource development. During his long and illustrious career, he has visited several countries to attend meetings and present papers and actively associated with professional, cultural and social bodies, and held responsible positions reflecting versatility, leadership, and stewardship. As an academician and administrator, he has strategic vision, conceptual skills, creativity, balanced emotions, courage, and digital communication experience. Some of the milestones in his career are, as coordinator of the UGC- SAP scheme, made a successful effort in developing a world-class infrastructure and facilities for basic and strategic research on water productivity having global competitiveness. Worked as associate coordinator of the center for advanced studies. As an investigator completed 36 research projects of national and international status. A total of 24 students under the Master's program and 15 Ph.D. scholars have completed their respective degrees under his guidance. He has been appointed as chairmen and the member for evaluating different projects, schemes and also a member of university accreditation committee, the board of studies and executive council of different colleges and universities. As a resource person and chairmen, organized training programs on capacity building for central and state Government official from different states in collaboration with BGREI and MANAGE, Hyderabad. Successfully organized and attended many symposiums, conferences and farmers training programs in different states of India to disseminate new agricultural technologies for farmer’s welfare. He obtained an advanced degree from the University of the Ryukyus, Japan and training on Leadership for Academicians Program from Penn State’ University, US.
